Had a strange dream...
Woman reading "The Negotiator's Woman". Woman finds a broken/beaten man in a generator room. Nurses him back to health. Reads to him while holding his broken body. Stroking his head and face. Finds out the purple couple have put him in here (Zeus v Hades?). She helps him "rescue" the dragon eggs prior to corruption (gold to purple).
Post apocalyptic US (leader of US raises two golden dragon fraternal twins). they all end up in the generator room (now with a hot tub?). (Purple has been trying to save the beaten man since beginning) Woman has been checking in on all the dragons (gold/purple) and giving them pieces of her heart (Dragonheart ref) until she has only one left. She helps to rescue them (as eggs) like she did with him (broken/beaten man) and place them where they need to be/who they need to be with. (loving aunt)
Behind the tub is a bag ("look my stuff is still here" (recognizes the book "The Negotiator's Woman" in the bag, many years seem to have passed in that time). She reads to him from his arms this time. Stroking his face. Give it to the broken/beaten man (she has followed him thru history/time saving him & teaching him compassion/humanity). Each time they hold hands and she makes him promise to never leave her. Hands held entwined between them connecting them heart to heart. (He leaves her every time - forgets compassion/goes on rampage..etc) This time she gives him the last piece of her heart so the compassion/humanity lasts, she can't keep going, she's given all she can give. She dies in his arms, with the leader and golden twins watching.
Cut to newscast via radio (1969/war of the worlds ref) speaking of how the leader (Tommy) of the US was a great man and struggled against the odds to do great things and how it is a shame that it took until the end in order for people to recognize that. (Eulogy) (8hr long)
