Received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

3 out of 5 Stars

The Billionaire's Command by Victoria Villeneuve
3 out of 5 Stars
  • wasn't a lot of D/S
  • neither resolved their issues
  • he at least seemed to be working towards a resolution
Enslaved by Artemis Hunt
4 out of 5 Stars
  • the language is off putting
  • like the hero gradually getting her used to his touch
  • last ditch flanking action, at least she knows what she is up against
  • HFN
Her Wish, His Command by Malia Mallory
4 out of 5 Stars
  • suspenseful
  • interesting that he is naturally dominant but doesn't feel comfortable being a Dom nor is it a preference
  • even without trying he gives her the domination she needs in the bedroom
  • overall story line wasn't resolved
The Object of His Desire by PJ Adams
1 out of 5 Stars
  • Too much reiteration
  • very confusing with the back and forth
Still Waters by Joanna Blake
5 out of 5 Stars
  • not a lot of BDSM
  • the father's concern is too little, too late
  • glad they were able to save her
  • her mother is criminally neglectful
Her Two Doms by Adrianna Hunter
5 out of 5 Stars
  • love the curvier heroine
  • seamless story progression
  • re-reading this story was a lot of fun
Heidi & the Kaiser by Selena Kitt
3 out of 5 Stars
  • interesting how her mind works, definitely under-utilizing her skills
  • not sure if I liked the hero or not
  • sexually submissive doesn't mean doormat
  • glad the truth came out, go Lenny!

Recommendation: Overall there were some good reads and some not so good reads. Worthwhile to pick up.

Truthful Silence by Cecile Tellier

I won a copy of this book in a giveaway.

 5 out of 5 Stars

I like that they were able to reunite their family. I'm glad that it all worked out between the siblings. The reunion between her friend and brother was quick. Eric is a stupid overprotective, alpha male idiot, which is why we love him. The loss of contact was disheartening and I'm glad she moved for her too, not just to be near Eric.

Recommendation: New Adult isn't a genre I normally read but this was a good, emotional read.

Do You Take this Cat? (Wind River Pack 4) by Missy Martine

I won this book in a giveaway.

3 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
Ray eventually redeemed himself.

What did I not like?
I don't like the way people are pushing and judging Rennia. How is what she did any different from the guy who doesn't tell his lady he's a shifter right away.

Recommendation: I'm hoping they save the girl (wonder if she's the non-shifting sister who is possible mate to Ayden and Colton). Looking forward to the next book.

The Touch of Her Hands (Wind River Pack 3) by Missy Martine

I won this book in a giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love that she is able to heal the children but that is gonna be a lot of work, protecting her both from the world and herself.

What did I not like?
Lyssa is going to be a problem. It sucks that Zack had to believe she died.

Recommendation: Good read.

An Officer and Two Gentlemen (Wind River Pack 2) by Missy Martine

I won this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love Fluffy's name.  Their family loves them, no reason they couldn't have been mates, but all things happen at their own time and place.

What did I not like?
The brother, Ray, is an idiot.

Recommendation: Other than wanting to smack Ray for being so ungrateful and an ass, this was a great read.

Blind Acceptance (Wind River Pack 1) by Missy Martine

I won this book in a giveaway.

5  out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I like that though the heroine has an obvious handicap it doesn't stop or even slow her down. I like that the heroes make time for her individually as well as working on their group dynamic. I love how they suggest ways to help her (paperwork in braille) rather than try to take over, they let her learn her way.

Recommendation: Loved it!

Clothing the Naked Sheriff (Celestial Nights 1) by Rebecca Joyce

I won this book in a giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
This is a new one for me. I love the over-the-topness of the whole story. The overblown and sheer craziness kept me intrigued and entertained throughout the story.

Recommendation: The ending is a twist and I loved it. Definitely planning on getting more in this series.

Spotlight & ARC Review: Curves 'em Right (Paranormal Dating Agency 4) by Milly Taiden

Blurb:
Paranormal Dating Agency Book 4 - STANDALONE
BBW Paranormal Shape Shifter Romance
A BBW in search of love + two sexy wolf shifters ready to claim her as their mate = Sizzling Ménage Romance

Daniella Flores is looking for a good man. A man who will accept her as she is and go crazy for her curves. So far she’s had no luck in the romance department and is worried she might never find the right one. When Mrs. Wilder of the PDA offers to help, Dani is all for trying anything. Mrs. Wilder promises to find her love, romance and hot sex. What woman in her right mind would say no to that?

Kane and Blake have been searching for a mate to complete their Alpha triad. There’s just one problem: they’ve yet to find a woman they both want. Not to worry, Kane’s mother comes to the rescue and brings in the PDA. Unfortunately for them, Mrs. Wilder has something up her sleeve and it’s not a bra. When they meet their mysterious date, they know she’s the woman they need.

A masquerade ball brings Dani and the shifters together. The two men who are really good friends with Dani’s overprotective older brother. She’ll get one chance to finally live the fantasy night she’s always wanted with the wild wolves. Besides, it’s not like they could really want her for a mate. It will take some maneuvering for Kane and Blake to keep Dani, not lose their friend and their pack, and prove her curves are the only ones they want.

Reader Warning: This book contains panty-melting sex (the kind that makes you need fudge and a cold shower), adult language (we like some freaky dirty talk), and violence. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you like dirty, raunchy sex with two men on one curvy sarcastic girl, then this is right up your alley.

Enjoy!

Excerpt:
“May I ask, are you averse to multiples?”
Say what? “I’m sorry what do you mean? Multiple what? Dates?”
“Multiple men. I’m not sure if you are aware, but some shifter packs have what’s called a Triad. That means two leaders need a female to complete their Alpha set and lead the pack. Together. They mate together and they sleep together. Almost all the time.”
She raised her brows in surprise. “You mean like a ménage but forever?”
“Yeah. Happily ménage ever after.”
“Well, shit. Count me in. I don’t care if you can get me one, two, or a whole pack of men who want me. As long as they genuinely want to be with me and are not just doing it out of some duty to help out the fat girl.”
“My clients are not that kind. They’re aggressive. Possessive. Jealous. They love their women because of their curves, not despite them. And they will show it.”

My Review:
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love the best friend's sibling trope so this already had brownie points with me. I love the reactions when the sibling finds out, usually with some big blow out (brother usually acts first and thinks later). Gerri is deliciously devious in this one, especially since she doesn't know their history. I loved watching the alpha pair eat their words.

What did I not like?
I think that her co-workers are terrible. She is much too nice to put up with that.

Recommendation: I love this series. There hasn't been one that I didn't want to read and re-read and this one is no exception.

ARC: Tempting Boundaries (Montgomery Ink 2) by Carrie Ann Ryan

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I liked that Sierra tore into Griffin for his quick trigger temper. The hero and heroine have a long way to go. It is going to take a lot of work and forgiveness to make this work. Having a relationship when the players are that tight is difficult and this story definitely shows that reality.

What did I not like?
I hope that police officer gets fired, that was completely unprofessional and absolutely a jack bottom move.

Recommendation: I'm hopeful that Alex's story is coming.

What did I like?
This story was suspenseful and the story kept me intrigued. I didn't want the story to end.

What did I not like?
Hope Ethan can move on and find love. Daniel was super creepy.

Recommendation: Looking forward to more in this series. Hoping to see Will & Faith's story in the future.

What did I like?
I like the way it all worked out. I love my HEA. Being reunited with her parents and giving children to the men she loves, the ending was just what I was looking for.

Recommendation: If you read Katlyn (book 1) first, a lot more things will make sense. Looking forward to Tessa's story.

Spotlight & ARC: Not Dead Enough by Mina Carter

Project Rebellion (SARA Book 1)
This is an offshoot of the Mate Series

Blurb:
There is life after death, unfortunately for them, it's the same one...

Brett Perkins was a soldier, until the Project killed him. Now he's finding that life after death isn't so hot. With the Project base destroyed, he and his team have been tasked with running down and destroying a group of rogue Bloods.

Unfortunately the vampires always seem to be one step ahead. Then they start kidnapping women...

Thanks to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Julia Collier is despised and reviled in the small town of Greenwood. His stories have painted her as everything from an air- headed gold-digger to a nymphomaniac serial killer. She can't even shop in the local store without suffering abuse from her fellow townsfolk, and that's before the late night calls or her ex's bully-boys following her.

When her home is broken into, Julia assumes it's her husband making good on his threats to 'deal with her for good'. She never dreams that it will lead a descent into another, terrifying world. One inhabited by werewolves, vampires...and zombies. Or that zombies could be so damn hot. Espeically one certain example who makes her heart pound and all her common sense disappear over the horizon. After all, what woman in her right mind would fall for the undead?

Unless the undead aren't dead at all, but something more than human, from a world she'll need all her wits and new abilities to survive the battle between the undead...and the dead.

Project Rebellion: They're not heroes, they're something else... They're SARAs and they're about to kick ass.

Author Bio:
Mina was born and raised in the East Farthing of Middle Earth (otherwise known as the Midlands, England) and spend her childhood learning all the sorts of things generally required of a professional adventurer. Able to ride, box, shoot, make and read maps, make chainmail and use a broadsword (with varying degrees of efficiency) she was disgusted to find that adventuring is not considered a suitable occupation these days.

So, instead of slaying dragons and hunting vampires and the like, Mina spends her days writing about hot shifters, government conspiracies and vampire lords with more than their fair share of RAWR. Turns out wanna-be adventurers have quite the turn of imagination after all...
(But she keeps that sword sharp, just in case the writing career is just a dream and she really *is* an adventurer.)

The boring part: A full time author and cover artist, Mina can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or graphics tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and would like to be addicted to chocolate, but unfortunately chocolate dislikes her.

My Review:

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I like the new take on zombies and how they are created. I love that the females (even the one considered weak) were actually emotionally strong females when it came down to the wire.

What did I not like?
I'm sad that they weren't able to help Kelwood's wife and the question of the daughter is still out there.

Recommendation: I'm looking forward to where this series goes.

Dangerous Times (C&M Security 1) by Moira Callahan

I won this book in a giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I loved the secondary characters, especially the best friends. The dialogue with cute and flirty.

What did I not like?
I had trouble with the idea that he only got 5 years for attempted murder. Also the twist threw me for a loop. I felt a little bit bad, like I had misjudged the villain.

Recommendation: Great read with a shocking ending. Looking forward to the next book. Hoping that Vince, Rhonda, and Robyn's stories are coming.

Spotlight: Perfect Mate (Blood Mate) by Mina Carter

Blurb for Perfect Mate:
Monsters do exist...and they’re the good guys.
Lillian Rosewood leads an ordinary, boring life working as the manager of a psychiatric hospital. The highlights of her day, other than her skinny hot chocolate, are the hunky guards who work in the secure section. Until a late-night emergency is wheeled in.

Captain Jack Harper is insane, drop-dead gorgeous...and just had his abdomen shredded. Despite the fact they're not an emergency room, Lillian can't turn him away and risk a death on her hands. Unable to get the handsome soldier out of her mind, Lillian sneaks into the restricted area to check on him. What she finds is beyond belief. Somehow Jack has managed to heal himself from a near-fatal woundin mere hours.

When one of the doctors, Walker, attempts to rape her, things go from bad to worse. In the blink of an eye, Jack is loose and Walker is dead... and Lillian must accept a truth about her rescuer that will change her world forever. What if the patients aren't insane? What if their stories of secret government experiments and monsters are true?

Warning: Contains blood, mayhem and nude werewolves operating heavy weaponry. Large amounts of sarcasm and smart-ass vampires may offend some readers. No civilian hospital staff were harmed in the making of this story.

Blurb for Blood Mate:
The only thing they have in common? Really…sharp…teeth.

The Project Rebellion, Book 2

Major Antonia Fielding has one goal: to escape the clutches of the Project. With the blood-virus infecting her system, though, a body bag is likely her only way out. Until her boss lets slip that he may just have a cure for her—if she brings in an escaped Lycan.

Can she trust him? Now there’s the million-dollar question. Then again, can she afford not to take that chance?

Darce Foster was a Special Forces soldier, until the Project got hold of him. Now he’s a Lycan, a lab-created werewolf, this close to escaping his creators—until another of the Project’s  experiments stops him in his tracks. Not because she has the power to hold him, but because he instantly recognizes the  impossible. The vampiress is his mate. Allowing her to bring him in is his only choice—and possibly the last mistake of his life.

Enemies or lovers, it doesn’t matter. When they discover that the Project is hiding yet more secrets, they must work together to bring it down...or die in the attempt.

Warning: Contains a cocky wolf who won’t take no for an answer, an ice-queen losing her cool and a pack full of hunky werewolves bent on rescue. And zombie spidermen.

ARC Review: Tame a Wild Heart (Wild 1) by Cynthia Woolf

Received a copy of this book via The Book Machine in exchange for an honest review.

First love never fades

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
She is a stubborn, independent woman; I can see how this situation would aggravate her. I love the newspaper story. I'm glad her people could be part of her wedding.

What did I not like?
His past is coming back to bite him but there is no fairness in war.

Recommendation: Good read with some interesting historical tidbits.

A Boon by Moonlight by Nicola Cameron

I won this book in a giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love that the hero would do this for his grandmother. The other hero's intentions were in the right place.

What did I not like?
The fae hero was a bit of a jerk and while his intentions were good, the follow-through fell a bit short.

Recommendation: I really enjoyed this book. It was a great quick read.

Love Slave for Two (Love Slave for Two 1) by Tymber Dalton

I won this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love that their third is a perfect blend of the two men and but still able to bring something new to the relationship. I'm glad Nevvie was able to bring to light parts of the boys that hadn't been revealed.

What did I not like?
Emily needs to be backhanded. Also, shame on Thomas for taking it out on Tyler.

Recommendation: This was a roller coaster ride of a book and I loved most of it.

Christmas with the Black Sheep by Natalie-Nicole Bates

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I like the way that it reveals the dark side of divorce, the way kids are affected. I feel he was a good kid and the divorce changed him. He was acting out to get attention. I'm glad she could look beyond that behavior to the real man underneath.

What did I not like?
I don't like the way the town judged him. What kid wants to run a funeral home when he grows up, especially a teen.

Recommendation: A sweet holiday read.

Spotlight: Midnight Eclipse (Bonded By Blood Vampire Chronicles 4) by Arial Burnz

Midnight Eclipse Character
The Bonded By Blood Vampire Chronicles by Arial Burnz is the saga of Broderick MacDougal following the soul of his true love through the centuries. There are six books planned for the series and this tour highlights the characters featured in the first three books and in the upcoming release Midnight Eclipse – Book 4 – which features Norse shapeshifting pirates.

Displaying BBB01_broderick_400x554.jpg
Bio: Broderick “Rick” MacDougal
• Born: April 4, 1450
• Crossed Over: October 11, 1486
• Height: 6′ 3′′
• Weight: 220 lbs (15.7 stones)
• Role: Hero and Main Character of the Bonded By Blood Vampire Chronicles

Born with a sword in his hand and raised in the Highlands...

...Broderick is a rugged Scotsman through and through! Son to Hamish and Moira, he was the elder of his two siblings – Maxwell the middle son, and Donnell the youngest. In 1478, Broderick’s mother died in battle beside her sons and husband during a raid orchestrated by Angus Campbell and his father Fraser. At Moira’s funeral, Hamish MacDougal threw himself from the highest tower of the MacDougal estate. Though his sons had tried to talk him down, Hamish could not be swayed from his deed and shouted, “’Tis my fault she is dead! I've brought this upon all of you,” before he fell to his death.

Broderick and his brothers had to forge on with their lives and occupied themselves with building their own estates. Maxwell and Donnell both married and had children while Broderick focused on finishing his own holdings of Glenstrae, where he eventually settled in with his own wife, Evangeline. However, during a May Day celebration in 1485 at his manor – with his brothers and their families in attendance – Angus Campbell attacked the estate and slaughtered all in aattendance leaving Broderick for dead. Evangeline escaped and was rescued by a convent. Rescued by Cordelia Lynn Harley and with her assistance, Rick crossed over into immortality a year later, seeking revenge against his clan enemy. Traveling as a Gypsy in a caravan of wagons, he hid his vampiric nature by using his immortal gifts to tell fortunes while he searched for Angus Campbell, who is also a vampire.

Rick is a very accomplished painter, and gets to indulge in this pastime when he isn't fighting for those he loves.

Most Popular Quote from Broderick MacDougal
“I want the taste of you on my soul.”

Facts About Broderick MacDougal NOT in the Books
Immortality, at first, was almost unbearable condition for Broderick in his early years after his transformation. There was a time he was testing his limits and didn't care if he lived or died in the process. One of the trials he put himself through was abstinence from human blood, where he only fed from animals. The lack of intimacy with human life and memories proved to be worse than living with the guilt of killing for blood. It was this trial that forced Rick to bring The Hunger under control so he would not have to murder those from whom he fed. Most Vamsyrians kill their prey. Broderick is one of a handful of his kind who do not kill their victims, and he doesn't know why...at least not yet.

As Midnight Loves the Moon by Beth D. Carter

I won this book in a blog hop.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I loved that he ate her food, even if it made him sick. Alex's comeuppance made me smile, his self-righteousness needed taken down a peg or two. I love her attitude and I'm glad she got to keep her human uniqueness.

What did I not like?
Simon's comeuppance wasn't harsh enough for the way he played with people's lives.

Recommendation: It was a lovely read. I have read it multiple times since I got it. Definitely, a repeat read.

Indecent Proposal (Workplace Gone Wild 1) by Jean Maxwell

I won a copy of this book in a blog hop.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I'm glad that she gave him a hard time about his departure, it was really bad timing. It's a good thing he had a good explanation for that disappearance.

What did I not like?
I'm not a fan of how quickly the h/h jumped into the sexual aspect of their relationship. There was a lot of doubt and almost regret due to the speed.

Recommendation: This was definitely a quick read. It was fast paced and fun.

Heat (Club Inferno 1) by Jamie K Schmidt

I won this book in a giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I'm glad that her sister was willing to help, despite the fact that the family (including the one getting help) has treated her like a pariah. The heroine needed a push and while the hero gave it to her; he was also still good about respecting how ready she was to move on. The banter is very entertaining. I like that though there is a good lead in on the further exploration of their relationship, that it doesn't end with a HEA, more like a HFN. This is a good thing, she isn't completely ready and the author did a great job of giving the couple a solid ending without ignoring the fact that the heroine was coming out of an abusive relationship.

What did I not like?
Don't like the comparison between her and her sister, there is a lot of negativity and self-righteousness that she needs to quit buying into. There is no redeeming some people.

Recommendation: I am looking forward to the next book and hope that this couple is visited.

A Dragon's Heart, A Demon's Blood by Elyzabeth M. VaLey

I won this book in a blog hop.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I like the sense of justice. All those who were twisted and full of power and corruption, died. Clearing the way for a better leadership.

What did I not like?
The hero was an idiot and endangered her for nothing. She was way to lenient when it came to forgiving him.

Recommendation: I enjoyed the story.

This was an interesting take on shifters and how shifters played into Henry gaining the throne. This was an intriguing journey and while the women were treated horribly, it does fit the lifestyles of that time period.

What did I not like?
I feel bad for the female wulvers, biology sucks. It is also heartbreaking the lengths that the females in this story have to go through to save their people. The men in their lives (Raife's mother'e mate excluded) need to open their eyes and pull their head out of their backsides.

Recommendation: It was an interesting blend of paranormal and historical. It was an intense read and I want to know if there will be a follow up about Donal.

ARC: Thrill of the Night (Avalon 1) by Mina Carter

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I like my heroines sassy and this one fits the bill.

What did I not like?
Could have been longer, feels like you come in mid-story.

Recommendation: Good, quick read.

ARC: Club Alpha: A BDSM Romance Boxed Set by Selena Kitt, Amy Valenti, Sienna Stapleton, Terry Towers, Emilia Kincade, Malia Mallory, PJ Adams, Arden Aoide, Elsa Day, Juliette Jaye, Adriana Hunter, Sophie Sawyer, Candy Quinn

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

Claiming His Tease by Amy Valenti
I liked that although much of their courtship was public their consummation was private. I also like that she made him wait and work for it. The best victories are those hard fought for.

Breaking Boundaries by Sienna Stapleton
I loved the hero in this story. He is sensitive to her and her needs. I love the idea of a safe place to train and learn for those exploring their sensual nature.

Escape by PJ Adams
I felt there were actually three stories, loosely intertwined and the reader was pulled between them.

Pavlov by Arden Aoide
Going on without your other half is hard and made the hero seem harsh. It's especially excruciating when you know it's your fault they are alone. I'm glad they got their second chance.

Rough Edges by Adriana Hunter
This one was a reality check. When guys feel cornered they do dumb things. She was nice enough not to give up on him.

Club Red by Sophia Sawyer
This was an interesting role reversal.

Precious Pet by Candy Quinn
This one was an interesting read. It felt dirty, in a good way.

Recommendation: I liked most of the stories in the anthology. A few of them weren't to my tastes but overall, a good read.

Patty's Homecoming (Montana Wranglers 1) by Honor James

I won this book in a giveaway.

3 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love her father, he is supportive and like many fathers, you can't hide relationship info from him. He knows...

What did I not like?
There felt like a lot of redundancy in the dialogue. Also the plot felt like it was a bit jumpy, too fast in some places and too slow in others.

Recommendation: While I look forward to the next book, and the setup for the next book was ok. I would say that this will not be a favorite in comparison to the author's other works.

ARC: Beyond Possession (Beyond Series 5.5) by Kit Rocha

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I like seeing the beginning of the O'Kane journey. I like the heroine's ability to stand alone. I like the way the story line is moving.

What did I not like?
I didn't feel the same level of connection with these characters as I have with past couples. I just want to B-slap the little sister.

Recommendation: While not my favorite story, this one showed a different side of Sector 4.

ARC: Crave: Tales of Vampire Romance Boxed Set by Michelle Fox, Selena Kitt, Marian Tee, Tabitha Conall, Alexis Dare, Abigail Graham, CD Christian, AE Grace

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

Beholden by Marian Tee
I found this to be an interesting story line with a cliffhanger ending.

Her Vampire Mate by Tabitha Conall
The vamp faction has a lot of backstabbing. I'm hoping Grace mates with Cael or Killion.

Her Bark, His Bite by AE Grace
The excerpts from the newspaper and her book were kind of distracting. This was an interesting take on the shift.

Knight Fall by Alexis Dare
This was more of a suspense story, there was less romance than I was expecting. I do like the setting.

The Blood of Angels by Selena Kitt
This was more like a narration but it worked for this story. Beautiful.

Blood Struck by Michelle Fox
I'm glad they didn't have to separate her from her mom. Interesting way to meet your father.

Thrall by Abigail Graham
I like the hero and the gory, descriptive scenes. Nice!

Recommendation: I read most of the books in this anthology. While some of them made me tilt my head and question, overall it is a good read.

ARC Review: Dragon Heart by Susan Arden

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 Stars

Like: I liked the secondary characters enough that I'm hoping there is more books coming. The heroine is impulsive. Dmitri got what he deserved as did his associates. I'm interested in finding more about Jinni.

ARC: Out of Chances (Taken by the Panther 2) by VM Black

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

 4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I believe that the government created her to be Chay's mate (pure speculation on my part).

What did I not like?
For not wanting to lie to her, Chay keeps the most important information from her.

Recommendation: This is like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. It just keeps getting crazier and crazier.

Spotlight & ARC: Her Purrfect Match (Paranormal Dating Agency 3) by Milly Taiden

Blurb:
Paranormal Dating Agency Book 3 (STANDALONE)

Alyssa Moran is tires of being the old cat lady with no man. She has very specific needs and goes to visit Mrs. Wilder at the Paranormal Dating Agency. Shockingly enough, she is promised a man who likes cats, wants kids, likes curves and will be wild in bed.

Grayson Green needs a mate. Fast. But he refuses to be pushed into anything. That is, until a curvy funny woman shows up in his territory saying she’s there for him. Who is he to argue when someone as delectable as Alyssa decides she wants to give herself to him?

Of course, not all is as it seems and some people want Alyssa gone and Gray dead. If Gray mates, the future of his pride will be sealed and no one can argue his place as leader. Unless it can be stopped before they ever get a chance to make some cubs. He will have to work hard at convincing a human she’s the only one for him or lose his pride and his mate.

Reader Note: This book contains scorching sex (the kind that will make you sweat and need ice cream), adult language (he's a very dirty talker and we like it), and violence. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you like dirty, raunchy sex with a growly tiger on one funny curvy girl, then this is right up your alley.
Enjoy!

Book Excerpt:
“Why what you want in a man, of course.” Gerri placed her elbow on the table and cupped her chin with her hand, tapping a finger on her cheek. “I know you said you wanted a man that likes
cats.”
She nodded quickly. “He has to. Or at least not be allergic and not be bothered by them.”

“A man who likes pussy,” Gerri said as she wrote. “Got it.”
Lyss blinked. Then she burst into giggles.

Gerri gave her a side smile. “You got that, huh?”
“Heck yeah. I definitely need a man who likes erm...that. You know, Tally had said you were unique, but wow."

Bio:

Hi! I'm Milly (AKA April Angel) I love to write sexy stories. They're usually either paranormal or contemporary with a large dose of heat. My paranormal stories can be anything from wolf-shifters (my favorites) to witches, demons and anything in between. I was born the prettiest part of the Caribbean known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, I live in New York City with my hubby, the bossy kiddo and our little dog "Needy Speedy". Don't ask.
When I'm not working some really long hours at the day job, or hanging out in the awful life-sucking invention known as Facebook, messaging my bestie in the UK or shopping with my sis Julie, then I can be found watching scary movies. Buuut when I'm not doing that, I'm usually writing because the voices won't shut up. I am addicted to shoe shopping, chocolate (but who isn't, right?) and Dunkin' Donuts coffee.

My Review:
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

3 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love Gerri, her sense of humor and the way she blasts the guys after they screw up is wonderful.

What did I not like?
The heroine's character felt weak, too nice for her own good. The way the hero deceived her didn't really sit well with me, especially with how quickly they jumped into bed after meeting.

Recommendation: There was a nice lead in for the next book. I'm loving this series and can't wait for the next one.

Coming Home (Massey, Texas 1) by April Zyon

I won this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I loved the way his family accepted her, especially after the wreck that was her childhood. I thought the scene with the mic pen was too funny.

What did I not like?
I was pissed off about the way her "dad"and his family (except the grandad) treated her. They need a good talking to.

Recommendation: I am looking forward to more in this series. I hope to see more about his military buddies.

Stupid Cupid by Melissa Hosack

I won this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love the concept of telling off Cupid. I think so many can relate to the way she felt. I also like the way she made the arrow able to enhance their confidence but not override the people's free will.

What did I not like?
I was not overly fond of the heroine. She was a hypocrite and too self-righteous about his job.

Recommendation: I really enjoyed this book, especially the end. It just goes to show that you can't know what other people are dealing with.

Caiden (McLaughlin Family 2) by Krystal Shannan

I won this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I liked that for a short story (novella), it had a full plot.

What did I not like?
I felt their relationship moved fast for someone who was having stalker issues.

Recommendation: I am hoping that Cole eventually gets his HEA.

ARC Review: Teach Me (Southern Nights 1) by Ella Sheridan

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
It was a very compelling book. I got sucked into this book and ignored the world for a while. The heroine was a strong, courageous woman. I was impressed with her ability to survive and move on.

What did I not like?
This book had a lot of hard subjects: stalking/abuse, lack of police competency, and even the idea that people with money and influence can get away with things that they shouldn't. The way the system in the story worked, or rather didn't, was a bit disturbing.

Recommendation: This was such an awesome read. I look forward to more for this series.

Illicit Relations (Boys Will Do Boys) by Lucy Felthouse

I won this book in a blog tour giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
The problems in this story were easily solved. I like that the parents (and most of the extended family) were really supportive once it had been all out in the open.

What did I not like?
All the angst could have been avoided if the parents had just been honest with him when he was younger.

Recommendation: This was a cute, enjoyable read. If the possibility of relationships between those who are related (not genetically) bother you, this is not the read for you.

Point of Seduction (Sunset Point) by Lori King

I won this book in a giveaway.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I love the concept of the series. I thought the reunion was a cute scene. I and glad that their relationships were built between each of them as a couple, in addition to their menage. The cupcake shop scene was super funny. I love the commentary on training the men. "...they have had years of training. You think they come like that?" I loved the guys reaction to Quinn's call about being in labor!

Recommendation: If you are interesting in some quirky characters with a lot of love, this is a fun, must read.

ARC: Love Scars: Bad Boy's Bride by Nicole Snow

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
While the story line is about harsh characters, the hero is actually a sweetheart, under all the gruff and toughness. He is a good example for actions speak louder than words. While his language was harsh and seemed to be mean towards the heroine, the truth is life is hard and he protected her rather than abused her.

What did I not like?
I hate that she had to choose, her father is a bottom feeder for the way he manipulated her and the way he forced the h/h hands.

Recommendation: While the language was gritty and the setting intense, overall it was a very good read.

Home (Spotless 3) by Bailey Bradford

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
This was an emotionally charged story. There was a lot of back and forth, It was nice that they were reconnecting with their past, both family and pack. I love the way Cliff and Rhea take to each other and I'm looking forward to Rolly and (I believe) Edwin's story. While a lot of the story was about Solomon and his family, I'm also glad that Azil was also able to lay his past to rest.

What did I not like?
This was a hard subject. Both mates were abused in their own way and came with their own set of issues. Also it saddens me that both sides of his family ended up being evil.

Recommendation: While I had not read the previous books in this series, it wasn't an issue. This was a great read and I'm looking forward to where the series goes from here.

His One and Only (Lycan Princes 2) by Jorja Kish

I won this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
There was good setup for later books. It was nice to see Squeak again, he's too funny. Theone seemed to be very physically fragile, but his powers make up for it.

What did I not like?
There were a few unanswered questions: Was Ty & Ky ok?

Recommendation: I am really interested in seeing where this series goes. The series just gets better and better.

I love that he kept his name, Squeak. I love his reaction to finding out his heritage, and even better his reaction to his legacy. Thanks, Kellen! The relationship between the main couple is just adorable.

ARC Review: Redeeming Rue (Ashland Prides 4) by RE Butler

I won a copy of this book in a giveaway.

4 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I'm glad that after it was all over, that she regained some of her family. I am hopeful that their punishment (ghosted) brings them as much pain as her unfair banishment did to her. I'm also glad that Dom and Henry have their connection, Henry was feeling a little left out.
While I don't envy them the wait, I think that Jilly especially could use that time. She just started finding herself, I think she needs more "me time" before becoming part of a triad.

What did I not like?
I was not happy that the bad guy didn't die screaming for his actions (yes, I was a little bloodthirsty after reading this). I also thought it would be more fitting to use the weapon they were wielding against them.

Recommendation: I can't wait for the next book, I'm hoping its a HEA for Ray, Scarlett and Wes.

ARC: The Zrakon’s Curse (Shifters of Scotland 2) by Linda Barlow

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
I loved their mental connection. What I wouldn't give to be able to communicate like that. They were a well matched couple, both their love of traveling and their open mindedness to new worlds. It's great that they are starting to figure out the curse, even if they don't know what to do with the new information.

What did I not like?
Cameron (the brother) is going to be a problem. I feel bad that he is different from his brothers but he's an ass about it.

Recommendation: I love the way the story line is moving along and I can't wait until Cameron gets his story so I can watch his heroine kick his backside.

I won a copy of this book in a contest.

5 out of 5 Stars

What did I like?
Although it was a short story, it had a full plot. I love the strength of the heroine, whether it was against a group of thugs, a demanding mother in law or the hero. I love the blend of shifter and military genres.

Recommendation: The concept of the book was adorable. I am looking forward to the next books in this series.

Spotlight: Mina Carter's Paranormal Protection Agency

Spotlight today on Mina Carter and her Paranormal Protection Agency

This book contains the following novellas: "Hard as a Rock", "Between a Rock and a Hard Place", "Protect and Service", "Seduced by Santa", and "Close Protection". If you already own these books, please do not purchase this title. The first five books in the PPA series now bundled together for one great price!

'Hard as a Rock'
Iliona's had a rough day, so the last thing she wants is a whiny ex on her doorstep throwing accusations about which of her co-workers she's sleeping with. When he starts throwing punches and one of her hunky gargoyle co-workers rushes to her rescue, Iliona is more interested in what exactly he's been doing on the ledge outside her bedroom window...
And whether he's interested in more than watching.

'Between a Rock and a Hard Place'
There's nothing like a bit of Gargoyle lovin'... Unless it's double the lovin'
Iliona is used to dealing with all kinds of paranormals thanks to her job with the Paranormal Protection Agency. Even so, an office break in by a banshee nearly has her heading for the pearly gates, and she needs a little 'me time' with her live-in, live on the building lover, a gargoyle named Cal.
But Cal's got some plans of his own. Plans that involve Iliona, a candle-lit room and some up close and personal time with himself and his 'twin' Granite.
Two sets of hands, two ridged tongues, two hot bodies...Being caught between a rock and a hard place has never been so hot.

'Protect and Service'
One curse. One Wolf. One Night.
Eloise is a woman on a mission. She needs to find a date for the annual hospital ball, and fast. The trouble is she's not only man-free but after her bastard of an ex had a nasty little curse hurled her way, no human guy will touch her with a barge-pole. Not after one date ended up with green acne, another with a nose like Pinocchio...the list went on.
Out of options, Eloise ends up at the offices of the Paranormal Protection Agency. She's not sure what to expect but she certainly doesn't expect Jared Stone. No-one expects Stone...

'Seduced by Santa'
A woman determined to spread the Christmas spirit...
Former socialite turned community centre worker Candice Kane loves Christmas. In the run down area she works in, economics and rising unemployment mean that there isn't a lot of Christmas spirit to go around. Determined to do something about it, for the last couple of years she's arranged a Christmas Party, complete with a visit from Santa for the neighbourhood kids. This year though, a break in and damage from vandals means the party could be cancelled...
A Santa who hates Christmas...
Rhod is...was a Santa. For years he joined the other men in his family delivering presents, until the attitude and ungratefulness of the rich children he delivered to made him hang up his red suit. Working for the Paranormal Protection Agency, he's convinced himself that he's happier without being the big guy anymore.
When he and his partner rescue Candy from an attack in a deserted alley, all Rhod's decisions are put to the test. Can he hold out against a woman with Christmas spirit in her heart, or will he lose his own in the process?

'Close Protection'
Ashlee Bishop is a bar owner. She was a happy bar owner until a bunch of pixies turned up demanding protection money. As a garden-variety human, she knows she doesn't have the ability to deal with the pixies, so she calls in the Paranormal Protection Agency to sort the problem out.
What she doesn't expect is for the pixies to come back before the agency can get to the bar, or the hot as hell werewolf who shows and starts teaching pixies how to fly. The hard way.
She certainly doesn't expect to be able to command his wolf... or to have to when the shit hits the fan.

Two Dragons for the Price of one!
Dragon's Honor - It was supposed to be a simple job. Bodyguard duty for a wealthy businessman’s daughter. But the Paranormal Protection Agency don’t do simple so shadow-dragons Baron and his brother Duke find themselves going undercover as human of all things. Their mission: to protect Miss Croft and dig up some dirt on her father to tie him to the illegal trade in paranormal slaves rife in the city.
Dissent and rumours amongst the staff at the Croft house make them wary, but neither expect redcaps and trolls to attack in the middle of the night, or for the most startling revelation of all: Honor Croft is Baron’s mate.
When a crazed warlock steals her away, will Baron be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save her?

Dragon's Chase - He’s found his mate. But can he convince her that he’s her dragon?
Working for the Paranormal Protection Agency has never been boring, but shadow-dragon Duke didn’t expect to meet his mate in the line of duty. He certainly didn’t expect a warrior every inch his match, or for her to slap him across the ass with her tail and take off across the city.
With Baron on a very personal protection detail, Duke has to fly solo on the pair’s investigation into the warlock who nearly killed Baron’s mate. Just one problem, his mate is working with the warlock. So, dead or alive, he has to bring her in…
She found the one thing she didn’t want. Her mate. Now she needs to get rid of him before he ruins her mission…
Sleeping for centuries has it’s drawbacks, Chase knew that going in. What she didn’t expect was to wake with a Warlock’s spelled collar around her neck and to find her charge, the Queen’s daughter, in a cage. Vowing to free them both will take skill and strength and she doesn’t need the distraction of a hot as hell male dragon trying to make his claim on her. Even though her heart aches to complete their joining, she can’t. Not yet.
The mission, or her heart. Can she have both? Or will she need one to complete the other?
Two HOT dragons for just 99c

Author Bio
