Chapter 11: The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron

So another week, another chapter...
I'm learning a lot and working thru some blocks. Hopefully, this will help me grow as a person and a creator. 
Key: * = assigned tasks for this week

*Task 6: List 5 ways you plan to nurture yourself in the next 6 months: Courses, Supplies, Artist's Dates, and Vacations.
  1. Work on scrapbooks
  2. A trip to Bookman's with a stop at Java Juice
  3. 2 week vacation (reduced stress)
  4. Try out new recipes (The Kitchen App)
  5. Check out the Skill Share App
  6. Plan a fun night with friends. 
  7. Plan a Halloween Bash for friends (and kids). 
  8. Plan a zombie boy birthday party. 
  9. Christmas shopping. 
  10. Plan a girl chick birthday party.
  11. Chiropractic adjustment. 
  12. Massage. 
  13. Haircut.

*Task 7: Plan 1 week's nurturing actions: one concrete, loving action every single day for a week!
Sunday: PJ day - relax, do nothing
Monday: Re-organized the freezers
Tuesday: Went shopping with girl chick
Wednesday: Listened to music with girl chick while on a drive; discover a new author 
Thursday: Work on blog; downloaded Skill Share App
Friday: Took a nap; Creative Cooking
Saturday: Having friends over

*Task 8: Write and mail an encouraging letter to your inner artist. Remember your artist is a child and loves praise, encouragement and festive plans.

*Task 9: Once more, re-examine your God concept. Does your belief system limit or support your creative expansion. Are you open-minded about altering your concept of God?
My God concept is supportive of creative expansion. It is also pretty open-minded and although I haven't recently needed to alter my God concept, it has happened over the years.

*Task 10: List 10 examples of personal synchronicity that support the possibility of a nurturing creative force.
