What did I like?
I believe that the government created her to be Chay's mate (pure speculation on my part).
What did I not like?
For not wanting to lie to her, Chay keeps the most important information from her.
Recommendation: This is like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. It just keeps getting crazier and crazier.

ARC Review: Out of the Darkness (Taken by the Panther 1) by VM Black
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Note: This is part 1 of a serial.

The opening was intensive. I found the author's take on the concepts of shifter and shifter biology new and fascinating. There's an interesting group of characters in the story. There is a lot of mystery but a good bit of hints that can make you think you figured it out.
Recommendation: I look forward to the next part of this story. I can't wait to see if my conclusions are correct.
