ARC Review: Shades of Submission: Fifty by Fifty #1: Billionaire Romance Boxed Set by Selena Kitt, Amy Aday, P.J. Adams, Arden Aoide, Joanna Blake, Starla Cole, Artemis Hunt, Adriana Hunter, Malia Mallory, Victoria Villeneuve

Received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

3 out of 5 Stars

The Billionaire's Command by Victoria Villeneuve
3 out of 5 Stars
  • wasn't a lot of D/S
  • neither resolved their issues
  • he at least seemed to be working towards a resolution
Enslaved by Artemis Hunt
4 out of 5 Stars
  • the language is off putting
  • like the hero gradually getting her used to his touch
  • last ditch flanking action, at least she knows what she is up against
  • HFN
Her Wish, His Command by Malia Mallory
4 out of 5 Stars
  • suspenseful
  • interesting that he is naturally dominant but doesn't feel comfortable being a Dom nor is it a preference
  • even without trying he gives her the domination she needs in the bedroom
  • overall story line wasn't resolved
The Object of His Desire by PJ Adams
1 out of 5 Stars
  • Too much reiteration
  • very confusing with the back and forth
Still Waters by Joanna Blake
5 out of 5 Stars
  • not a lot of BDSM
  • the father's concern is too little, too late
  • glad they were able to save her
  • her mother is criminally neglectful
Her Two Doms by Adrianna Hunter
5 out of 5 Stars
  • love the curvier heroine
  • seamless story progression
  • re-reading this story was a lot of fun
Heidi & the Kaiser by Selena Kitt
3 out of 5 Stars
  • interesting how her mind works, definitely under-utilizing her skills
  • not sure if I liked the hero or not
  • sexually submissive doesn't mean doormat
  • glad the truth came out, go Lenny!

Recommendation: Overall there were some good reads and some not so good reads. Worthwhile to pick up.

ARC: Club Alpha: A BDSM Romance Boxed Set by Selena Kitt, Amy Valenti, Sienna Stapleton, Terry Towers, Emilia Kincade, Malia Mallory, PJ Adams, Arden Aoide, Elsa Day, Juliette Jaye, Adriana Hunter, Sophie Sawyer, Candy Quinn

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 out of 5 Stars

Claiming His Tease by Amy Valenti
I liked that although much of their courtship was public their consummation was private. I also like that she made him wait and work for it. The best victories are those hard fought for.

Breaking Boundaries by Sienna Stapleton
I loved the hero in this story. He is sensitive to her and her needs. I love the idea of a safe place to train and learn for those exploring their sensual nature.

Escape by PJ Adams
I felt there were actually three stories, loosely intertwined and the reader was pulled between them.

Pavlov by Arden Aoide
Going on without your other half is hard and made the hero seem harsh. It's especially excruciating when you know it's your fault they are alone. I'm glad they got their second chance.

Rough Edges by Adriana Hunter
This one was a reality check. When guys feel cornered they do dumb things. She was nice enough not to give up on him.

Club Red by Sophia Sawyer
This was an interesting role reversal.

Precious Pet by Candy Quinn
This one was an interesting read. It felt dirty, in a good way.

Recommendation: I liked most of the stories in the anthology. A few of them weren't to my tastes but overall, a good read.
